Tomorrow at 5am we will embark on another journey west. The kids are excited! Sophie was grinning from ear to ear as I tucked her in and today I heard Max talking to Sophie, "Can you BELIEVE IT?! Tomorrow we go to Colorado!"
This trip will be a lot of firsts...partly because Sophie doesn't remember everything from two years ago and mostly because Max seems to have forgotten everything! First time to these areas for Michelle, Craig, Caitlyn, and Ingrid. It's always exciting to share something with someone who hasn't experienced it yet. It even makes the Badlands interesting again ;)
My usual disclaimer: I will TRY to keep up the best I can. I know that I enjoy looking back on the memories from previous trips and appreciate now that I took the time then. Sometimes it can be tough to stay dedicated to posting and reflecting daily, but should be worth it.
